The M40A1 has been the mainstay of the UCMC scout sniper for well over 20 years.  It's regarded as one of the truly legendary sniper rifle designs of all time.  Tac Ops now takes the M40A1 one step further with the introduction of the Sierra series of rifles.
Utilizing state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques, the Sierra series takes the basic M40A1 design to accuracy levels that could only be dreamed of with the standard issue M40A1. Using cryogenically treated match barrels with a match crown and chamber, mated to a fully blue printed Remington 700 action, these rifles are real shooters.  The classic design of the stock has been field proven over many years of operational use.  The narrow forend allows for exceptional shooting from all positions.  When it comes to the legendary M40A1, why settle for the standard when the Sierra is available. Tac Ops Sierra series takes the M40A1 to the next level. Tac Ops recommends the rifle be used 70% of the time in the prone position, and 30% of the time in other positions. Due to the intended purpose of this rifle, the ergonomics of the Sierra is rated at 7 (on a scale of 10).
